Featuring sites and characters of the past and present: Kanda Shrine, Edo townsfolk and delivery people, geisha, famous kabuki actors, firefighters known as "hikeshi" (who would climb up wooden buildings and put out fires by smashing up the building!); floating carp, the mandala of "Magokoro" (goddess of sincerity); the dawn of the machine age, and the age of information: all presided over by the mythical Kirin dragon of Nihombashi Bridge...
