Luke Lickfold (Australia)
Luke Lickfold is a sound designer involved in a wide range of performance projects and sound design roles: performing live sound art, live/pre-composed sound for theatre and dance, and interactive multimedia projects. Luke obtained a BFA in Sound Design/Music Production with Distinction from Queensland University of Technology, and also works as a DJ, producer and sound engineer. In 2007 he was awarded an Australia Council Asialink residency to work with multimedia performance unit 66b/cell on designing a multiple speaker array. Projects on which he has worked include: Knowmore (House of Commons) (2009), Omon Ra (2006), Restaged Histories Project, (2005),The Greater Plague (2005), Living Lens (2005-ongoing), ESP-Sound Through Movement, Movement Through Sound (2005) Escape (2005,2006), New Moves (2003), War of the Worlds (2003).
Mitsuru Kotaki (Japan)
A musician and composer, Mitsuru Kotaki was a member of the Japanese '80s band CINEMA, who made their public debut under CBS SONY. Following this, he worked with various groups including METRO FORCE, eX, YAPOOS, EXOTICS and De-Lax. He worked as a sound producer for J-pop singers Yoshiyuki Osawa and Kiyouko Koizumi and has also composed music for animation adaptions of Japanese manga such as Urusei Yatsuru. More recently, he has been creating music for dance theatre and installation work with 66b/cell and SuperSoundResort (Yokohama BankART) Dance Exhibition.
